But we went to see Hank III! And it was awesome! I've never seen so much blood at a show.

Now. BSG! I didn't like this episode much, but I guess they can't ALL be amazing. And it wasn't exactly "Black Market," so we can all be grateful for that.

John and I had to make a last-minute trip to the Valley, so I didn't get to watch BSG until last night. But I've watched it twice now, and I'm probably going to watch the podcast commentary as soon as I'm done here so I think it's pretty safe to say that I LOVED IT MORE THAN ANYTHING EVER.

TL;DR: Not my favorite BSG episode ever, but BSG is like pizza- even when it's bad it's good. Lost was every bit as Losty as I needed it to be, so A++. :D

IN THE MEANTIME, HERE ARE WORDS ABOUT TELEVISION:

I haven't really mentioned it because it's old news, but jeaves and I have been watching Doctor Who. We've just started the third season, and I'm very excited about Martha and kind of enjoying the break from Rose (don't hit me) and her overwhelming need to be the center of the universe (don't hit me). It's kind of a shame that I just now came around to liking her and now she's "gone", but I've seen icons and I know she'll be back. :P

Those of you who know things: Are we safe to watch the first season of Torchwood after finishing this season? Or should we just be safe and watch S4 first? I miss Jack and I just don't know how much longer I can wait. What about SJA? I'm very fond of Sarah Jane.

I'm not getting into the older series at all until I'm caught up on this one and probably a few other shows (Mad Men, Big Love, How I Met Your Mother, the list goes on and on). Everyone I know has a favorite show that they want me to watch, and I want to watch all of them but GUYS. That's a lot of shows! Esp. with BSG and Lost and FotC coming back. I need more eyes/brains/televisions.

ALSO, please link me your favorite DW icon makers. I'm especially interested in S1, because Chris Eccleston holds the keys to my pants. But I also love David Tennant and pretty much everyone on the show, so just link me whoever's good. Please!

ETA: I found a pretty fair amount of hot Eccleston action all on my own, but now I can't find any Martha or Mickey or Jackie (why not? SHE IS THE BEST).

WRATH OF ETA: Also Harriet Jones, Prime Minister. I could not love that woman more.

OMG OMG OMG OMG

Oh, y'all. It's just so hard to care about posting on LJ lately. I predict a rekindling of the romance in January, though, what with all MY STORIES starting up again.

In the meantime I've been updating my (newly moved) twitter and my tumblr. So if you have one of those, come and play with me. And I'm still trying to keep up with my flist. I love you guys, don't worry.

I don't have any Twilight icons! How sad.

I already twittered my ass off about the movie but here's some more because it really was a hilarious experience.

It wasn't good. Really, it wasn't. It was scattered and everything felt rushed and some of lines were real clunkers and I wish they would have committed to either an action movie or a romance movie. Here's an actual review that I think is pretty fair and on the money.

But I had a really good time at the theater and it's been a while since I really fangirled out about anything, so I'm willing to put all that aside. :D
